I bet you have seen all kinds of Work from home jobs across the internet.
You will see both scams and gimmicks. Now I sure you know that "scams" and gimmicks" are two different things legally but when you are searching for the right business you want to know what you are getting. So let us see what the differences are.
If you really want to find out then you first must define what a work from home scam and what is a work from home gimmick is.
Work form home Scams
An online job that promises that you will make big money from home by doing simply tasks. Then make up excuses about why you can not get paid after the work is done. Finally there is no way to get your money back.
Work from home Gimmicks
The problem with gimmicks is they can be a real job but you will not get what you expected. This gimmick involves something like them telling you to pay for a simple way to make money. But when you pay, you find out that they tell you to take the same ad with your new url and then advertise it to someone else for profit.
To make money in a work from home job, you need to avoid both the scams and the gimmicks. You will just end up chasing every fad idea that you come across.
Now, if you are serious about having a work from home job then you need something that haves some longevity to it. A real work from home job should pay you not you pay them.
Lets go over some rules about how a real work from home job should be.
1. The job should have something to sell other than itself. You do not want a product that tells you to turn around and sell the same work from home product to someone else. This is an example of a gimmick.
2. Do not bother with multi level marketing jobs. People who make money on these gimmicks are the people who create them. These jobs are all about creating a pyramid scheme where you get someone to join in under you then you get a percentage of who they bring in.
3. Make sure your work from home job has been around for a while. Do your research first to find out who has worked for them and how it went.
4. Find a work from home job that you understand. They make it sound simple at first but once you sign up, you end up lost and confused.
5. Check the customer support before you opt in. If they respond quickly and with good information you may have picked a winner.
6. Plan on going some real work. If they tell you your work at home job will be to just push a few buttons and get paid big bucks then you know it's a scam.
Now that you have a few guidelines, use them when you start to search for your work from home job. Whether scams or gimmicks, try to eliminate both from your search.

Backlinks Are Good Enough to Scam for
As we all know, if you want to get free traffic to your
website you are going to need good quality backlinks.
As with everything else, there is a right way and a wrong
way to get them. So here are some tips that can help you
avoid being scammed on backlinks.
Con artist have developed some very sneaky way of getting
one way links to there site. For example, some will see
your email address and offer to trade links with you.
They start by showing you a link that they all ready gave
you on one of there pages praise your site. Then they ask
you if you would be so kind as to give them one in return.
So after seeing how nicely they asked and viewing the
glowing endorsement they gave you about your site you
decide to go ahead and give them a link back to their
site. Now you think everybody is happy and will benefit
from each others links. But will you?
After receiving your link several things can go wrong. One
thing could be that the con artist simply removes your link
creating a one way backlink for themselves. Another thing
could be that you never had a link at all from their website.
They simply created a separate page outside of their real
website so if you keep checking back you will see something
but if you check their website from the home page and search
each page your link is never found.
This can happen to anybody some make sure before you trade
links with someone that your link it can be found from the
home page and not just directly from that page they sent you.
also check back frequently to make sure that your link hasn't
been removed.
Another way they can rip off a link from you is to set up a
fake directory. They tell you that you can submit your site
to our directory for free backlinks and all you have to do is give us
a reciprocal link back to our site and you name and email
address. So you follow the steps they laid out for you to
submit your site and give them the information that they
ask for. Now you site back and hope that their directory
can bring you some traffic.
Guest what, that right no traffic. Why you ask, because
their directory is not real in the sense that no one is using
it except for the people who are submitting to it. But thanks
to your link that you gave them more people are submitting
to them and giving them links. Oh, by the way, remember
seeing that little message that says "We hate spam and your
email address will never be sold or give away by us" under
where you gave your email address? Well I hate to tell you
this but your email address will get sold and you will start
noticing a high amount of spam in your account.
So how do you know which directory to use? Simple, it all
about learning how do your research first. If you want to
submit to directories then start with the ones you trust
like Google or yahoo. After that, search on the web and
submit to the top directories found. If you start seeing
ads for directories that you never heard of and you still
what to submit to them then set up a separate email just
for thoughs directories and you won't have to deal with
the potential spam on your main email address. If you
can see which one is sending spam just remove the link
from your site.
Well that all for now. I hope this information has helped
you recognized a good link from a bad one. I hope that
you understand that you don't have to resort to dirty
tricks to get links to your site. Just be honest and
trustworthy and you will get the links needed to make your
site succeed.
