We all know that there can be some challenges when you are working at home. If you have clients then you must work with your family to be able to joggle your time properly. But along the way, there will be a few issues that you must work out before you start your work at home business.
One of the first things you need to do is separate your work from your personal life. Create a separate room that is dedicated to your work. You want to look professional to any clients that might come over. Next, have a separate entrance to your work room. That way if you home is no that tidy your customers will not notice. Third, set up a work at home schedule. Even though you can start and stop working anytime you want you will find that you will be more productive if you have some type of schedule to follow. Plus, you can plan time for work and family fun.
Then there is the issue of distractions. Working at home with your family around can be filled with all types of interruptions. To deal with those problems you must first focus your goals and priorities. You will be less prone to distractions. If a certain person in your family is distracting you then you need to be kind but firm. The wrong thing to do is to get mad. They might not understand that they are bothering you. You need to take action but try not to ignore the the distraction. You will never solve the problem that way. Set up a work at home zone and let everyone know that for the next few hours you want to be alone.
With all the extra work you are doing around the house you may not have time to keep up on your everyday choirs around the house. It is OK to get a little help around the home in order to stay on top of things. Work with your family so everyone can pitch in and pick up the slack. Remember, when you are working at home everyone has to make certain adjustments not just you.
I hope that these work at home tips can help smooth things out around the house. It is a balancing at that everyone in your family have to get use to. Talk to your family and make sure that everyone is on board.

Free Article Directory Service
Have you ever wondered why most article directory services need your full address just to send them articles? I don't get it! You give them fresh new content that builds up their search results and they want your address. That last one I used sent me a coffee mug. Big deal! I don't even drink coffee.
So other than that, what do they need my address for? I can't see a good reason for it. I glad that it is a free article directory service and all but why the need for my full address? I think that article directories should just take your articles and just ask for an email address only to keep in touch. I mean that's all they need in my opinion.
So I decided to set up my own free article directory and let everybody submit their articles without giving up your street address. All I ask for is an email address to let you know about your article submission and a link from a blog or website or even forum you belong to. You do not have to send me a link from every website your article is linking to. All you have to do is simply type in the same URL in the "link From" box that shows where my link is everytime you submit an article.
You do not have to sign in to submit articles and their is no limit to the articles you can send as longer as they are unique. You can read all of my terms when you visit the site. Don't worry, it's not that long at all.
To me this is what all article directies should do. They do not need to know all that about you. I hope they don't sell your address to advertisers that send junk mail to your home. Who knows? If you know then let me know, please!

Filing Taxes? Tax Breaks for Self Employed
If you are self employed and one of the lucky ones who are making money from home on your own then congratulations. But when it comes to filing taxes are you getting the tax breaks that you deserve? If not, then you are losing hundreds or even thousands of dollars to the government. Happy with that?
I mean if you think that the government needs the money more than you do then by all means keep losing your tax deductions. There is always another company that is in need of being bailed out that can use your money. And we all know that many states are running out of money. I sure they would be more than happy to keep your money. Don't think that after filing taxes the IRS is going to send you a letter telling you that you missed out on some deductions. Old uncle Sam will just take your money or give you your small return then laugh all the way to the bank with your money. This is your government bail out. Letting the IRS keep your money is cutting in to your profits. Who knows how much you could have made last year if you got all of your deductions. Work from home scams or gimmicks? Which is Which?
I bet you have seen all kinds of Work from home jobs across the internet.
You will see both scams and gimmicks. Now I sure you know that "scams" and gimmicks" are two different things legally but when you are searching for the right business you want to know what you are getting. So let us see what the differences are.
If you really want to find out then you first must define what a work from home scam and what is a work from home gimmick is.
Work form home Scams
An online job that promises that you will make big money from home by doing simply tasks. Then make up excuses about why you can not get paid after the work is done. Finally there is no way to get your money back.
Work from home Gimmicks
The problem with gimmicks is they can be a real job but you will not get what you expected. This gimmick involves something like them telling you to pay for a simple way to make money. But when you pay, you find out that they tell you to take the same ad with your new url and then advertise it to someone else for profit.
To make money in a work from home job, you need to avoid both the scams and the gimmicks. You will just end up chasing every fad idea that you come across.
Now, if you are serious about having a work from home job then you need something that haves some longevity to it. A real work from home job should pay you not you pay them.
Lets go over some rules about how a real work from home job should be.
1. The job should have something to sell other than itself. You do not want a product that tells you to turn around and sell the same work from home product to someone else. This is an example of a gimmick.
2. Do not bother with multi level marketing jobs. People who make money on these gimmicks are the people who create them. These jobs are all about creating a pyramid scheme where you get someone to join in under you then you get a percentage of who they bring in.
3. Make sure your work from home job has been around for a while. Do your research first to find out who has worked for them and how it went.
4. Find a work from home job that you understand. They make it sound simple at first but once you sign up, you end up lost and confused.
5. Check the customer support before you opt in. If they respond quickly and with good information you may have picked a winner.
6. Plan on going some real work. If they tell you your work at home job will be to just push a few buttons and get paid big bucks then you know it's a scam.
Now that you have a few guidelines, use them when you start to search for your work from home job. Whether scams or gimmicks, try to eliminate both from your search.

Seo Training Optimization Tips for 2009
Have you heard the news? Google will be changing the way the search engines work in 2009. What does this mean for SEO optimization. Google is leaning to more personalization of their search results. That means your page rank will not mean a thing any more or so they say. So if you want to know the SEO tips that you may need to save your niche website then read on.
Your SEO training is all about finding out how Google will post results for keyword searches. Sometime in 2009, when someone types in a keyword phrase your results will be based on your previous search history. Google will have tools that read your cookies and your that are stored and customize it results based on that and your IP address. So if some types in the same keyword phase somewhere else, your results will be different from the other persons. That means if your website was first on one persons search results you could not show up at all on the other persons search results. Your SEO optimization will become a little more challenging.

That could penalize a lot of good websites that offer lots of well written and useful content. To me that's not fair! I don't want to see a Weak video offering useless information being ahead of a very good written content based website. Hopefully Google will look at quality versus flashy.
If your SEO optimization was all about getting a high page rank then you may have to change your strategy a bit. Ranking high could be dead and search engines will care more about traffic results and bounced rates. High a large amount of links or even high quality links to your website may not help as much any more. But I wouldn't stop getting those links if I were you. You are going to need all the unique website traffic you can get to keep your site high on search results.
One good benefit that will come from all of this is bringing down all those spam websites that offer no content. All they do is fill their pages with a bunch of links and banners leading to another website. Those websites will get slapped heavily. This should lead to finding more quality websites and less spam sites.

Google Ambush Review
I just want to let people know about a product that came out that makes Google Adwords seem easy. The article was created here at: Google Sucks. The product name is Google Ambush and I think this will change the opinion that Google sucks when it comes to Google Adwords.

I have been looking for something that can help me make money with Google Adwords since I nearly went broke the first time I tried it. Believe me when I say that I am not the first person to say that and not the last either. Free Niche Websites are not that free
One day while surfing the web, I came across a sales page that promised to build your own free niche websites. I was new to the internet at the time and I was already looking to create a website so I took the free deal. But the deal did not turn out the be what I expected.
They start out by telling you that all the work will be for free because the other companies will pay them a commission to get people to sign up for there free account. Once they build the niche websites for you all you have to do is sign up for there hosting company and then they will install the website for you. All you have to do is advertise your new free niche website and you will make money. But will you?
See, you need to make sure that if you are going to sign up for a hosting company make sure it's a good one. You can always find good hosting companies for a better price just by looking. You could be paying way more for hosting than you need to.
Also find out what niche website that they are going to build. Don't just except what ever they give you. Some will not even use articles to create the niche website. They will just pick a topic then use a software that finds bits of sentences to fill the space. They will offer no value to any visitor and you will not make any money.
If they use articles, those articles will be given out to so many people that it will not get indexed by google because of duplicate content penalty. If the search engine will not index it then you will never be found on the search. A niche website needs unique content that is optimized for keywords in order to get listed.
You will be forced to spend money advertising your niche website hoping to at least make enough money to cover your monthly hosting costs and advertising expenses. If you are new and don't know what you are doing you will be broke fast.
So I recommend that you first learn all you can about building niche websites and then create your own. It doen't take that long and you will have total control of the content and layout. Once you are done then learn all the ways you can advertise your niche website. Do not start any advertising campaign until you research for tips on how to properly use their service. This will cut down on most of you costly mistakes that you will have along the way.
